IEC 61000-4-2 ESD Discharge Immunity Test

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has issued IEC 61000-4-2 Ed. 2.0 (2008-12) entitled “Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – Part 4-2: Testing and measurement techniques – Electrostatic discharge immunity test.”

This standard relates to the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment subjected to static electricity discharges, from operators directly, or from personnel to adjacent objects. Additionally it defines ranges of test levels that relate to different environmental and installation conditions and establishes test procedures. The object of this standard is to establish a common and reproducible basis for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment when subjected to electrostatic discharges. It also lists EDS that may occur from personnel to objects near vital equipment. It defines typical waveform of the discharge current, range of test levels, test equipment, test setup, test procedure, calibration procedure, and measurement uncertainty.

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 1995, its amendment 1 (1998), and its amendment 2 (2000) and constitutes a technical revision. It has the status of a basic EMC publication in accordance with IEC Guide 107.

Lisun ESD61000-2 Electrostatic Discharge Simulator is in full compliance with IEC 61000-4-2, EN61000-4-2, ISO10605, GB/T17626.2, GB/T17215.301 and GB/T17215.322, to provide the best solution for the assessment of withstanding ESD performance of electrical and electronic equipment.

Lisun New Product! - LED Aging Rack

Driver is the most important component of LED luminaire, its quality is directly related to the performance and quality of the luminaire. As the LED lighting manufacturers and importers’ production and procurement are in large quantities, the traditional LED driver tester has been unable to meet the demand. As per the requirement of customers, Lisun developed the LEDRACK-100W192P LED Aging Rack. It is applied to the production line for the finished products testing. This system fully complies with the requirements of IEC62384, GB24825-2009 and other relative standards. Please refer the picture below.Lisun New Product! - LED Aging Rack

LEDRACK-100W192P LED Aging Rack

The LED Driver Aging Rack includes three parts: LED Driver Aging Rack, Aging Control System (includes PC & software) and LED Load Module. The specification is as following.
  • Application range: LED driver and multi channel driver power aging. It has equipped with computer operation and monitor system. The working condition can be set by the computer, and the computer will record real time data to do statistical analysis.

  • The parameters of load can be set freely on the software, to monitor the real time voltage, current, and power etc

  • Load mode: CC, CV, CR, CP, and LED

  • The channels are parallel connected under arbitrary load mode, which can allow product power expansion

  • Aging Control System includes: ON/OFF control signal output; Signal of relay switch control; K type thermocouple temperature acquisition

  • Automatic current switching function (optional)

  • AC power meter to measure modules, and test power input characteristics (optional)

  • Temperature monitoring function at product zone (optional)

  • PWM dimming and two sets of logic control signal function (optional)

  • The LED Driver Aging rack will design according to customer’s LED driver power and aging quantity per time

Integrating Spheres-Developing Intelligence from Light

An integrating sphere (also known as an Ulbricht sphere) is an optical component consisting of a hollow spherical cavity with its interior covered with a diffuse white reflective coating, with small holes for entrance and exit ports. Its relevant property is a uniform scattering or diffusing effect. Light rays incident on any point on the inner surface are, by multiple scattering reflections, distributed equally to all other points.
Lungruop's Integrating Spheres are designed for the measurement of the total flux output of lamps and other light sources. The LMS Integrating Spheres range in size from 4 to 76 inches in diameter, offer a highly reflective, durable Spectralon or Spectraflect interior, and can accommodate lamp sizes from sub-miniature incandescent to 52-inch fluorescent lamps.

Goniophotometer make lights pecfect

The use of goniophotometers has been increasing in recent years with the introduction of LED-light sources, which are mostly directed light sources, where the spatial distribution of light is not homogeneous. Due to strict regulations, the spatial distribution of light is of high importance to automotive lighting and its design.
Designed for precision, accuracy and reliability, Lusungroup goniophotometer systems offer strong, stable frames that accept all types and sizes of lights in a range of spectrums including visible/photopic, night vision (NVIS), IR and shortwave IR (SWIR). Goniophotometer units are available in 18-inch tabletop, 30-inch open top, 40-inch, 60-inch, and 80-inch designs to accommodate a wide range of light assemblies including individual LEDs, bulbs, automotive front or rear-end panels, buoys, port lighting and obstruction lights. Lusun heavy duty (HD) series goniophotometer systems test larger, heavier lighting devices. Several versions are also available with five-axis positioning capability.

Integrating Spheres of Lisungroup pvovide the right service for lighting sources

Lisun integrating spheres is coming for all kinds of lighting sources. When availabled in a variety of sizes

to offer customers the most flexibility Lisun integrating Spheres choosing a sphere for their application.

The spheres are extremely robust yet are surprisingly lightweight, compact, and easy to operate.
The function of an integrating sphere is to spatially integrate radiant flux. Before one can optimize a

sphere design for a particular application, it is important to understand how the integrating sphere works.

How light passes through the sphere begins with a discussion of diffuse reflecting surfaces. From this, the

radiance of the inner surface of an integrating sphere is derived and two related sphere parameters are

discussed, the sphere multiplier and the average reflectance. Finally, the time constant of an integrating

sphere as presented is relevant to applications involving fast pulsed or short lived radiant energy.
